Why You'll Never See a Salesman: Our 100% Online Process

The home-improvement industry runs on the in-home sales visit: a rep in your living room, a "today-only" price, and pressure to sign before they leave. We built our entire process to be the opposite — because informed customers with published prices don't need convincing.

Step 1 — You check your own eligibility (2 minutes, online)

Our estimate tool asks the same questions a salesman would: property type, ownership, downspouts, existing sump pump or backwater valve, flood history. The difference is you answer them on your phone, at 11pm if you like, and nobody calls you mid-dinner.

Step 2 — You see real numbers, instantly

Standardized pricing means every home gets the same published price for the same work. Your estimate is itemized: each work item, its price range, its rebate, which program pays it, and your net cost. It's the same math we put on the final invoice — because the rebate paperwork has to match the invoice anyway.

Step 3 — The contract is public

You can download our client agreement right now, before we know your name. Read it with your coffee. Send it to your lawyer cousin. It'll be the same document when you're ready to sign — electronically, from your phone.

Step 4 — One assessment visit (the City requires it, not us)

Mississauga's pre-approval needs an itemized quote, a contractor diagram of the proposed work, and permits — which means a licensed plumber has to measure your actual drains. That's the first time anyone visits your home, it's a working visit, and the camera inspection it includes is itself a rebate-eligible cost. Book it online at a time that suits you.

Step 5 — We file everything

Pre-approval application, building permits, the Region of Peel application, final approval after completion — we prepare and submit all of it. You get copies of every document. The City's 6-month completion window is our deadline to manage, not your problem to remember.

Step 6 — Install day, then your cheques

Typically one day of work by our licensed crew, under permit, with a municipal inspection where required. You receive photos, the itemized invoice matching your estimate, and the final rebate submissions. The City and Region mail rebate cheques directly to you — typically 4–6 weeks for Peel.

Why we work this way

Honestly? Because it's better for both sides. You get time, transparency and zero pressure. We get customers who already understand the program, the price and the paperwork — which makes the jobs smoother and keeps our costs (and prices) down. Start with the 2-minute check and see for yourself.
